Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2018 Phillips in Bidding Closes held the auction Unbound: Online Only, which included the work Shade Tree VI by Graham Collins. Here, the upper estimate of USD 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 3,250.00 (€ 2,867.98). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Graham Collins - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in November 2015 for USD 8,125.00 (€ 7,692.67).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2018 führte Phillips in Bidding Closes die Auktion Unbound: Online Only durch, in der auch die Arbeit Shade Tree VI von Graham Collins zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 3.250,00 (€ 2.867,98) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Graham Collins mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im November 2015 für USD 8.125,00 (€ 7.692,67) versteigert wurde.
