Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work Reflected Painting by Graham Collins for USD 1,250.00 (€ 1,123.09). This price was achieved in the auction Phillips x Artsy Summer School at Phillips in an online auction and was even below the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Graham Collins have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 8,125.00 (€ 7,692.67).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2019 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Reflected Painting von Graham Collins für USD 1.250,00 (€ 1.123,09) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Phillips x Artsy Summer School bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Graham Collins auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 8.125,00 (€ 7.692,67).
