This work of art by Grace Cossington Smith could be acquired at Sothebys in Melbourne in August 2008 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Important Australian Art auction, the work Australian wild Flowers With White Coral changed hands for AUD 31,200.00 (€ 18,212.94) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of AUD 35,000.00 – 45,000.00. Admittedly, works by Grace Cossington Smith have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Still Life With Jugs in May 2004 with an auction result of AUD 203,150.00 (€ 118,694.01).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Grace Cossington Smith konnte im August 2008 bei Sothebys in Melbourne für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden.
