In April 2014 Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Modern Sale, which included the work Man with cigarette by Gösta Sandels. The »bidding war« ended at SEK 26,000.00 (€ 2,881.18), 30% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gösta Sandels achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Flicka med flygande hår" (Elaine) in October 2011 with an auction result of SEK 350,000.00 (€ 38,821.97).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 30 % übertroffen
Im April 2014 führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Modern Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Man with cigarette von Gösta Sandels zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von SEK 26.000,00 (€ 2.881,18) und damit 30% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gösta Sandels erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Flicka med flygande hår" (Elaine) im Oktober 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 350.000,00 (€ 38.821,97).
