Auction result misses estimated price range
In May this year a collector was able to acquire the work Bathing woman. by Gösta Sandels for SEK 48,000.00 (€ 4,135.91). This price was achieved in the auction Modern Art + Design at Bukowski in Stockholm and was even below the estimate range of SEK 60,000.00 – 80,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Gösta Sandels have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Flicka med flygande hår" (Elaine) in October 2011 with an auction result of SEK 350,000.00 (€ 38,821.97).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Bathing woman. von Gösta Sandels für SEK 48.000,00 (€ 4.135,91) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern Art + Design bei Bukowski in Stockholm erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gösta Sandels auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Flicka med flygande hår" (Elaine) im Oktober 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 350.000,00 (€ 38.821,97).
