Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2016 Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Moderna, which included the work "Landskap med kyrka" by Gösta Sandels. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of SEK 60,000.00 – 80,000.00, the actual price achieved of SEK 65,000.00 (€ 6,569.97) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Gösta Sandels have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Flicka med flygande hår" (Elaine) in October 2011 with an auction result of SEK 350,000.00 (€ 38,821.97).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2016 führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Moderna durch, in der auch die Arbeit "Landskap med kyrka" von Gösta Sandels zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 60.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von SEK 65.000,00 (€ 6.569,97) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gösta Sandels auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Flicka med flygande hår" (Elaine) im Oktober 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 350.000,00 (€ 38.821,97).
