Admittedly, works by Godfried Maes have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Four Continents: America, Africa, Europe And Asia in April 2015 with an auction result of GBP 40,000.00 (€ 54,929.22).
