Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April 2007 Christies in London held the auction British, Continental & Russian Pictures, which included the work Study for Stone Rise East by Glynn Williams. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 540.00 (€ 790.63). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Glynn Williams achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Two Girls From 1907 (After Picasso) in November 2016 with an auction result of GBP 56,250.00 (€ 66,369.47).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im April 2007 führte Christies in London die Auktion British, Continental & Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Study for Stone Rise East von Glynn Williams zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 540,00 (€ 790,63) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Glynn Williams erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Two Girls From 1907 (After Picasso) im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 56.250,00 (€ 66.369,47).
