Auction result well in line with expectations
In October last year Christies in London held the auction Modern British & Irish Art Day Sale, which included the work Sitting, Holding, Looking by Glynn Williams. The price achieved of GBP 4,032.00 (€ 4,697.24) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Glynn Williams achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Two Girls From 1907 (After Picasso) in November 2016 with an auction result of GBP 56,250.00 (€ 66,369.47).
