The work Bianchi E Gialli by Giuseppe Santomaso was sold in the Mapping Modern and Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Milan in February 2021. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 93,750.00 34% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Giuseppe Santomaso - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Settembre alla mancia, which sold at auction in November 2007 for EUR 273,915.20.

Die Arbeit Bianchi E Gialli von Giuseppe Santomaso wurde im Februar 2021 in der Auktion Mapping Modern and Contemporary Art bei Christies in Mailand versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 93.750,00 und damit 34% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Giuseppe Santomaso mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Settembre alla mancia beobachtet, die im November 2007 für EUR 273.915,20 versteigert wurde.
