Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Giuseppe Recco could be acquired at Sothebys in Milan in November 2008 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Old Master Paintings auction, the work Interno Di Cucina Con Carni, Verdure, Pane E Pentole Di Rame changed hands for EUR 29,550.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giuseppe Recco achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Roses, carnations, tulips and other flowers in a glass vase, with pastries and sweetmeats on a pewter platter, on a stone ledge in front of a red curtain in April 2007 with an auction result of GBP 282,000.00 (€ 412,884.33).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Giuseppe Recco konnte im November 2008 bei Sothebys in Mailand für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Old Master Paintings wechselte die Arbeit Interno Di Cucina Con Carni, Verdure, Pane E Pentole Di Rame für EUR 29.550,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 40.000,00 – 60.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giuseppe Recco erzielen.
