It achieved a price of USD 90,000.00 (€ 70,461.13), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 50%. Admittedly, works by Giuseppe Recco have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Roses, carnations, tulips and other flowers in a glass vase, with pastries and sweetmeats on a pewter platter, on a stone ledge in front of a red curtain in April 2007 with an auction result of GBP 282,000.00 (€ 412,884.33).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 90.000,00 (€ 70.461,13) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 50%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Giuseppe Recco auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Roses, carnations, tulips and other flowers in a glass vase, with pastries and sweetmeats on a pewter platter, on a stone ledge in front of a red curtain im April 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 282.000,00 (€ 412.884,33).
