In December 2003 Christies in London held the auction Old Master Pictures and Drawings, which included the work A female figure clasping her hands to her chest by Giuseppe Passeri. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,292.50 (€ 1,830.66), 29% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giuseppe Passeri achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Madonna And Child In Glory, Attended By A Company of Angels in July 2006 with an auction result of GBP 31,200.00 (€ 45,673.14).

Im Dezember 2003 führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Master Pictures and Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit A female figure clasping her hands to her chest von Giuseppe Passeri zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 1.292,50 (€ 1.830,66) und damit 29% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giuseppe Passeri erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Madonna And Child In Glory, Attended By A Company of Angels im Juli 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 31.200,00 (€ 45.673,14).
