Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2003 Christies in Milan held the auction ARTE MODERNA E CONTEMPORANEA, which included the work Contadino by Giuseppe Migneco. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 12,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 13,640.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Giuseppe Migneco - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work La pescatrice, which sold at auction in May 2000 for ITL 42,300,000.00 (€ 36,277.87).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2003 führte Christies in Mailand die Auktion ARTE MODERNA E CONTEMPORANEA durch, in der auch die Arbeit Contadino von Giuseppe Migneco zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 12.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 13.640,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Giuseppe Migneco mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit La pescatrice beobachtet, die im Mai 2000 für ITL 42.300.000,00 (€ 36.277,87) versteigert wurde.
