It achieved a price of EUR 3,800.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 73 %. Admittedly, works by Giuseppe Migneco have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work La pescatrice in May 2000 with an auction result of ITL 42,300,000.00 (€ 36,277.87).

Die Arbeit Cactus von Giuseppe Migneco wurde im Juni 2014 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art bei Il Ponte versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 3.800,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 73 %. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Giuseppe Migneco auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit La pescatrice im Mai 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von ITL 42.300.000,00 (€ 36.277,87).
