Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Donna by Giuseppe Migneco was auctioned at Il Ponte in May 2013, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 350.00 – 500.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 300.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giuseppe Migneco achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La pescatrice in May 2000 with an auction result of ITL 42,300,000.00 (€ 36,277.87).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Donna von Giuseppe Migneco im Mai 2013 bei Il Ponte versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 350,00 – 500,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 300,00 den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giuseppe Migneco erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La pescatrice im Mai 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von ITL 42.300.000,00 (€ 36.277,87).
