Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2015 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Master & British Drawings, which included the work Recto: Study Of A Bitch Verso: Her Head In Profile by Giulio Pippi. It changed hands for a price of GBP 5,625.00 (€ 7,974.36) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giulio Pippi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait of a woman, head and shoulders in March 2021 with an auction result of GBP 378,000.00 (€ 444,052.63).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2015 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Master & British Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Recto: Study Of A Bitch Verso: Her Head In Profile von Giulio Pippi zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 5.625,00 (€ 7.974,36) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giulio Pippi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait of a woman, head and shoulders im März 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 378.000,00 (€ 444.052,63).
