This artwork by Giulio Pippi achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in October 2021. In the Always in Style: Old Master Drawings from the Collection of Herbert Kasper auction, the work Psyche and her sisters, with Cupid and another woman (?) sold for USD 200,000.00 (€ 173,130.19) - well above the upper estimate of USD 80,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Giulio Pippi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Portrait of a woman, head and shoulders, which sold at auction in March 2021 for GBP 378,000.00 (€ 444,052.63).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Giulio Pippi erzielte im Oktober 2021 bei Christies einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Always in Style: Old Master Drawings from the Collection of Herbert Kasper wurde die Arbeit Psyche and her sisters, with Cupid and another woman (?) für USD 200.000,00 (€ 173.130,19) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 80.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Giulio Pippi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Portrait of a woman, head and shoulders beobachtet, die im März 2021 für GBP 378.000,00 (€ 444.052,63) versteigert wurde.
