This work of art by Giulio Pippi could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in January 2008 for an unexpectedly low price. In the The Jeffrey E. Horvitz Collection of Italian Drawings auction, the work Jupiter And Juno Received In The Heavens By Ganymede And Hebe changed hands for USD 103,000.00 (€ 69,402.33) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 120,000.00 – 160,000.00. Admittedly, works by Giulio Pippi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait of a woman, head and shoulders in March 2021 with an auction result of GBP 378,000.00 (€ 444,052.63).
