It achieved a price of USD 75,000.00 (€ 55,555.56), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. Admittedly, works by Giulio Pippi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait of a woman, head and shoulders in March 2021 with an auction result of GBP 378,000.00 (€ 444,052.63).

Die Arbeit Apollo Seated In A Chariot Crowning A Supplicant von Giulio Pippi wurde im Januar 2014 in der Auktion Old Master Drawings bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 75.000,00 (€ 55.555,56) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Giulio Pippi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Portrait of a woman, head and shoulders im März 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 378.000,00 (€ 444.052,63).
