Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2012 a collector was able to acquire the work A Huntsman Beating His Dog by Giulio Pippi for GBP 4,750.00 (€ 6,050.22). This price was achieved in the auction Old Master & British Drawings Sale at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giulio Pippi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait of a woman, head and shoulders in March 2021 with an auction result of GBP 378,000.00 (€ 444,052.63).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2012 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit A Huntsman Beating His Dog von Giulio Pippi für GBP 4.750,00 (€ 6.050,22) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Old Master & British Drawings Sale bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giulio Pippi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait of a woman, head and shoulders im März 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 378.000,00 (€ 444.052,63).
