Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work The Resurrection (B., Archer 45; Massari 130) by Giulio Bonasone was sold in the Old Master, Modern and Contemporary Prints auction at Christies in London in July 2001. It achieved a price of GBP 1,410.00 (€ 2,296.08), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 18%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Giulio Bonasone - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Last Judgment, After Michelangelo (B., A. 80; M. 79), which sold at auction in July 2001 for GBP 3,055.00 (€ 4,974.85).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit The Resurrection (B., Archer 45; Massari 130) von Giulio Bonasone wurde im Juli 2001 in der Auktion Old Master, Modern and Contemporary Prints bei Christies in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 1.410,00 (€ 2.296,08) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 18%. Für andere Arbeiten von Giulio Bonasone mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Last Judgment, After Michelangelo (B., A. 80; M. 79) beobachtet, die im Juli 2001 für GBP 3.055,00 (€ 4.974,85) versteigert wurde.
