The work Recto: Studies Of An Executioner And A Seated Figure; Verso: A Fragment Of Figure Studies, After Raphael by Francesco Mazzola was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in January 2013. It achieved a price of USD 37,500.00 (€ 27,606.01), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Francesco Mazzola achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait of A Bearded Man, Bust-Length, In A Black Hat, Wearing A Gold Chain With A Ring in July 2006 with an auction result of GBP 792,000.00 (€ 1,159,395.17).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Recto: Studies Of An Executioner And A Seated Figure; Verso: A Fragment Of Figure Studies, After Raphael von Francesco Mazzola kam im Januar 2013 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion.
