This artwork by Giovanni Migliara achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in December 2019. In the The Pohl-Ströher Collection of Portrait Miniatures, Part III auction, the work Classical Landscape With Diana And Her Entourage, Circa 1810 sold for GBP 2,750.00 (€ 3,250.18) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giovanni Migliara achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Mantova, Piazza Delle Erbe in June 2005 with an auction result of EUR 124,000.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Giovanni Migliara erzielte im Dezember 2019 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Pohl-Ströher Collection of Portrait Miniatures, Part III wurde die Arbeit Classical Landscape With Diana And Her Entourage, Circa 1810 für GBP 2.750,00 (€ 3.250,18) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giovanni Migliara erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Mantova, Piazza Delle Erbe im Juni 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 124.000,00.
