Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

Here, the upper estimate of USD 12,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 12,925.00 (€ 13,885.90). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giovanni Lanfranco achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Execution of Saint John the Baptist in December 2019 with an auction result of GBP 137,500.00 (€ 162,508.91).

Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 12.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 12.925,00 (€ 13.885,90) einen neuen Besitzer.
