In the Old Masters/New Scholars: Works of Art Sold to Benefit Rugby School auction, the work The Madonna in Glory (recto ); Studies of heads and drapery (verso ) sold for GBP 18,750.00 (€ 20,889.16) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 10,000.00. Admittedly, works by Giovanni Battista Beinaschi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Incredulity of Saint Thomas in December 2006 with an auction result of GBP 96,000.00 (€ 142,476.02).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Giovanni Battista Beinaschi erzielte im Dezember 2018 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Old Masters/New Scholars: Works of Art Sold to Benefit Rugby School wurde die Arbeit The Madonna in Glory (recto ); Studies of heads and drapery (verso ) für GBP 18.750,00 (€ 20.889,16) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 10.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Giovanni Battista Beinaschi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Incredulity of Saint Thomas im Dezember 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 96.000,00 (€ 142.476,02).
