In the Old Master Paintings auction, the work The Supper at Emmaus sold for GBP 52,750.00 (€ 58,926.45) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Giovanni Battista Beinaschi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Incredulity of Saint Thomas, which sold at auction in December 2006 for GBP 96,000.00 (€ 142,476.02).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Giovanni Battista Beinaschi erzielte im Dezember 2020 bei Bonhams in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Old Master Paintings wurde die Arbeit The Supper at Emmaus für GBP 52.750,00 (€ 58.926,45) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 30.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Giovanni Battista Beinaschi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Incredulity of Saint Thomas beobachtet, die im Dezember 2006 für GBP 96.000,00 (€ 142.476,02) versteigert wurde.
