Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Expulsion From The Temple by Giovanni Battista Beinaschi was auctioned at Sothebys in London in May 2018. It changed hands for a price of GBP 18,750.00 (€ 21,351.22) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Giovanni Battista Beinaschi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Incredulity of Saint Thomas in December 2006 with an auction result of GBP 96,000.00 (€ 142,476.02).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Expulsion From The Temple von Giovanni Battista Beinaschi kam im Mai 2018 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 18.750,00 (€ 21.351,22) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Giovanni Battista Beinaschi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Incredulity of Saint Thomas im Dezember 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 96.000,00 (€ 142.476,02).
