Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2012 Christies in London held the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art, which included the work Progetto per "direzione" (Project for "direction") by Giovanni Anselmo. It changed hands for a price of GBP 8,750.00 (€ 10,979.70) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 7,000.00 – 9,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giovanni Anselmo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Torsione in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 6,437,000.00 (€ 5,855,011.82).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2012 führte Christies in London die Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Progetto per "direzione" (Project for "direction") von Giovanni Anselmo zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 8.750,00 (€ 10.979,70) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 7.000,00 – 9.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giovanni Anselmo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Torsione im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 6.437.000,00 (€ 5.855.011,82).
