Sold at the lower estimate price
This work without title by Giò Pomodoro was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Art auction at Il Ponte in May 2021. The result of EUR 1,000.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giò Pomodoro achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Studio per la Grande folla in November 2000 with an auction result of ITL 89,300,000.00 (€ 82,171.61).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Giò Pomodoro wurde im Mai 2021 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art bei Il Ponte versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 1.000,00 entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giò Pomodoro erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Studio per la Grande folla im November 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von ITL 89.300.000,00 (€ 82.171,61).
