The work Sole by Giò Pomodoro was auctioned at Il Ponte in July 2020. It achieved a price of EUR 7,000.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 40 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giò Pomodoro achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Studio per la Grande folla in November 2000 with an auction result of ITL 89,300,000.00 (€ 82,171.61).

Die Arbeit Sole von Giò Pomodoro kam im Juli 2020 bei Il Ponte zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 7.000,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 40 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giò Pomodoro erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Studio per la Grande folla im November 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von ITL 89.300.000,00 (€ 82.171,61).
