In December 2007 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Art, which included the work Quadrivio by Gianni Dessi. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 17,300.00 (€ 23,507.77), 73% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Gianni Dessi; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Senza Titolo sold at auction in April 2008 with the realized price of EUR 24,250.00.

Im Dezember 2007 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Quadrivio von Gianni Dessi zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 17.300,00 (€ 23.507,77) und damit 73% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Gianni Dessi; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Senza Titolo im April 2008 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 24.250,00.
