Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2018 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Curated, which included the work Annuncio by Gianni Dessi. The price achieved of GBP 6,000.00 (€ 6,833.36) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gianni Dessi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Senza Titolo, which sold at auction in April 2008 for EUR 24,250.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2018 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Curated durch, in der auch die Arbeit Annuncio von Gianni Dessi zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 6.000,00 (€ 6.833,36) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Gianni Dessi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Senza Titolo beobachtet, die im April 2008 für EUR 24.250,00 versteigert wurde.
