Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Giacomo Quarenghi could be acquired at Sothebys in London in November 2014 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Russian Paintings auction, the work Design For Pavlovsk changed hands for GBP 3,500.00 (€ 4,400.47) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giacomo Quarenghi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Four views of Bakhchiserai in the Crimea: Houses along the river; The walls of a mosque; A lane with a view of mountains; and A mosque among trees in November 2005 with an auction result of GBP 60,000.00 (€ 88,147.58).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Giacomo Quarenghi konnte im November 2014 bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden.
