The work The Nativity of Saint John the Baptist by Giacomo Cavedone was auctioned at Il Ponte in October 2018. The result of EUR 8,000.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 8,000.00 – 9,000.00. Admittedly, works by Giacomo Cavedone have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Head of a bearded man in a cap, in profile to the right, with a study of another head in the lower left corner in January 2004 with an auction result of USD 65,725.00 (€ 52,782.69).

Die Arbeit The Nativity of Saint John the Baptist von Giacomo Cavedone kam im Oktober 2018 bei Il Ponte zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 8.000,00 entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 8.000,00 – 9.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Giacomo Cavedone auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Head of a bearded man in a cap, in profile to the right, with a study of another head in the lower left corner im Januar 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 65.725,00 (€ 52.782,69).
