Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of USD 13,750.00 (€ 12,395.20) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 12,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Giacomo Cavedone have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Head of a bearded man in a cap, in profile to the right, with a study of another head in the lower left corner in January 2004 with an auction result of USD 65,725.00 (€ 52,782.69).
