The work The Adoration of the Shepherds by Giacomo Cavedone was sold in the Italian Drawings From The Robert Landolt Collection auction at Christies in London in December 2020. The result of GBP 4,000.00 (€ 4,468.36) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giacomo Cavedone achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Head of a bearded man in a cap, in profile to the right, with a study of another head in the lower left corner in January 2004 with an auction result of USD 65,725.00 (€ 52,782.69).
