Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Figures Outside A Coaching Inn by Gerrit Berckheyde was auctioned at Christies in London in December 2017. The price achieved of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 16,880.30) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gerrit Berckheyde achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A view of Haarlem from the northwest corner with the Kruispoort and St. Bavo's Cathedral beyond in December 2010 with an auction result of GBP 2,617,250.00 (€ 3,036,002.11).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Figures Outside A Coaching Inn von Gerrit Berckheyde kam im Dezember 2017 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 15.000,00 (€ 16.880,30) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gerrit Berckheyde erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A view of Haarlem from the northwest corner with the Kruispoort and St. Bavo's Cathedral beyond im Dezember 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.617.250,00 (€ 3.036.002,11).
