This artwork by Gerard Röling achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in December 2006. In the 20th Century Art auction, the work A still life with peaches sold for EUR 12,000.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 6,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Gerard Röling; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Plums in a dish sold at auction in June 2003 with the realized price of EUR 17,925.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 100 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Gerard Röling erzielte im Dezember 2006 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th Century Art wurde die Arbeit A still life with peaches für EUR 12.000,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 6.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Gerard Röling; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Plums in a dish im Juni 2003 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 17.925,00.
