Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by G. Harvey could be acquired at Bonhams in Los Angeles in February 2019 for an unexpectedly low price. In the The L.D. "Brink" Brinkman Collection Online auction, the work The Wrangler changed hands for USD 600.00 (€ 527.29) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by G. Harvey achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Boomtown Drifters in October 2020 with an auction result of USD 1,230,000.00 (€ 1,056,065.94).

Dieses Kunstwerk von G. Harvey konnte im Februar 2019 bei Bonhams in Los Angeles für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion The L.D. "Brink" Brinkman Collection Online wechselte die Arbeit The Wrangler für USD 600,00 (€ 527,29) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.500,00 – 2.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von G. Harvey erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Boomtown Drifters im Oktober 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.230.000,00 (€ 1.056.065,94).
