Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Le pré du peintre by Ger Lataster was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in April this year. It changed hands for a price of EUR 4,788.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ger Lataster have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in May 2018 with an auction result of USD 52,500.00 (€ 44,987.15).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Le pré du peintre von Ger Lataster kam im April diesen Jahres bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 4.788,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ger Lataster auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 52.500,00 (€ 44.987,15).
