This artwork by Ger Lataster achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Paris in December this year. In the Contemporary Art – online sale including ‘’A Lifetime Collection’’ auction, the work Volée d'innocents sold for EUR 1,890.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 1,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ger Lataster achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in May 2018 with an auction result of USD 52,500.00 (€ 44,987.15).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Ger Lataster erzielte im Dezember diesen Jahres bei Christies in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art – online sale including ‘’A Lifetime Collection’’ wurde die Arbeit Volée d'innocents für EUR 1.890,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 1.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ger Lataster erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 52.500,00 (€ 44.987,15).
