Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Georges Collignon was sold in the Post-War and Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Amsterdam in December 2017. The price achieved of EUR 5,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Georges Collignon - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Exercice, which sold at auction in December 2007 for EUR 12,250.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Georges Collignon wurde im Dezember 2017 in der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 5.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Georges Collignon mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Exercice beobachtet, die im Dezember 2007 für EUR 12.250,00 versteigert wurde.
