A top price for Georges Collignon - as previously expected
The work Exercice by Georges Collignon was sold in the Twentieth Century Art auction at Christies in Amsterdam in December 2007. The price achieved of EUR 12,250.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Exercice is the most expensive artwork by Georges Collignon that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Exercice von Georges Collignon wurde im Dezember 2007 in der Auktion Twentieth Century Art bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 12.250,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Exercice das teuerste Kunstwerk von Georges Collignon, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
