Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Ham, cheese, eggs, lemons and a cat with a captured mouse by George Smith of Chichester was auctioned at Christies in London in September 2005. It changed hands for a price of GBP 1,920.00 (€ 2,817.74) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 1,600.00 – 2,000.00. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 1.920,00 (€ 2.817,74) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.600,00 – 2.000,00.
