Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A Woodland Landscape With Gypsies Encamped Below A Tree by George Morland was auctioned at Sothebys in London in December 2012. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 11,250.00 (€ 13,874.37) could thus just exceed the lower estimate.
