In March 2020 Sothebys in New York held the auction American Art Online, which included the work Opposition Of Forms by George Lovett Kingsland Morris. The »bidding war« ended at USD 8,750.00 (€ 7,933.63), 25% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by George Lovett Kingsland Morris have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Intrusion in November 2021 with an auction result of USD 68,750.00 (€ 60,910.78).

Im März 2020 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion American Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Opposition Of Forms von George Lovett Kingsland Morris zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 8.750,00 (€ 7.933,63) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von George Lovett Kingsland Morris auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Intrusion im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 68.750,00 (€ 60.910,78).
