Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Forms In Space by George Lovett Kingsland Morris was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in September 2012. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 7,000.00 – 10,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 7,500.00 (€ 5,833.85) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by George Lovett Kingsland Morris achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Intrusion in November 2021 with an auction result of USD 68,750.00 (€ 60,910.78).

Die Arbeit Forms In Space von George Lovett Kingsland Morris kam im September 2012 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 7.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 7.500,00 (€ 5.833,85) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
