Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Remembrance by George Leslie Hunter was sold in the Scottish Art auction at Bonhams in Edinburgh in October last year. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 10,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 11,475.00 (€ 13,368.25). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by George Leslie Hunter achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Still Life With Tulips And Oranges in April 2009 with an auction result of GBP 433,250.00 (€ 484,118.60).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Remembrance von George Leslie Hunter wurde im Oktober letzten Jahres in der Auktion Scottish Art bei Bonhams in Edinburgh versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 10.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 11.475,00 (€ 13.368,25) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von George Leslie Hunter erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Still Life With Tulips And Oranges im April 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 433.250,00 (€ 484.118,60).
