Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Figures on the Jetty, Lower Largo Harbour Painted circa 1922-1923 by George Leslie Hunter was auctioned at Bonhams in Paris in October this year. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 9,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 10,240.00 (€ 11,758.36). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by George Leslie Hunter achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Still Life With Tulips And Oranges in April 2009 with an auction result of GBP 433,250.00 (€ 484,118.60).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Figures on the Jetty, Lower Largo Harbour Painted circa 1922-1923 von George Leslie Hunter kam im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Paris zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 9.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 10.240,00 (€ 11.758,36) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von George Leslie Hunter erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Still Life With Tulips And Oranges im April 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 433.250,00 (€ 484.118,60).
